Infinity Ring은 하늘을 상징하는 수평 링과 물의 낙하를 상징하는 수직 링이 결합된 전망대 조형물이다. 정면에서는 하늘 원에서 물이 떨어지는 장면, 측면에서는 파장의 궤적이 드러나며, 시점에 따라 다른 풍경과 리듬을 제공한다. 두 링의 연쇄는 섬진강과 하늘이 맞닿는 구례의 자연 서사를 응축한다. 전망대로 오르는 동선은 물의 순환을 따라가는 여정으로, ‘섬진8경’ 체험을 구성하여 증발·응결·낙하 등 물의 변주를 공감각적으로 경험하게 한다. 전남 구례군 간전면 섬진강 수달생태공원 내 높이 53.5m 철골 전망대로 계획되었으며, 지리산과 섬진강의 탁월한 경관을 수용하고 관광 거점으로 기능한다. 야간에는 링 구조, 워터폴, 코어를 중심으로 LED 라이트 서클·워터폴 투사 조명·스파이럴 라이트가 어우러져 낮과는 또 다른 빛의 서사를 창출한다.

The Infinity Ring is a 53.5m steel observatory where a horizontal ring symbolizes the sky and a vertical ring represents falling water. From different angles, it reveals shifting scenes capturing the dialogue between the Seomjin River and the heavens of Gurye. The ascent follows the water’s cycle, designed as the “Eight Scenic Views of Seomjin,” guiding visitors through origin, flow, evaporation, and condensation in a multisensory journey. By day, the tower frames Mt. Jirisan and the river as a cultural landmark. By night, dynamic lighting creates a luminous narrative distinct from daylight while ensuring safety and efficiency.
