10월 초에서부터 11월 초까지 에버랜드의 할로윈 축제기간을 위해 디자인한 블러드시티는 "좀비 카니발"의 테마로 공간을 디자인하였다.
기존의 알파인빌리지를 새롭게 연출하여 구성한 블러드 시티는 존을 진입하는 도입부의 게이트에서부터 중앙광장의 상징조형물, 그리고 메인스테이지로 가는 스트리트와 메인스테이지로 크게 구성된다.
도입부의 게이트는 기존의 '캐슬' 모티브의 게이트에 외부 레이어를 구성하여 완전히 다른 이미지로 리모델링하였다. 또한 축제기간 이후에 게이트의 스킨을 제거하여 원상복구가 용이하도록 디테일이 설계되었다.
From early October to early November, Blood City, designed for Everland's Halloween festival, was themed as the "Zombie Carnival." Blood City, which is a newly created version of the existing ALPINE VILLAGE, largely comprised of the entrance gate entering the zone, the symbolic sculpture in the central plaza, and the street leading to the main stage and the main stage.
The gateway at the beginning has been renovated into a completely different image by constructing an outer layer on the existing 'castle' inspired gate. Additional details have been considered to facilitate easy restoration to its original state after the festival period.
블러드시티의 메인구조물인 블러드 스트리트는 블러드 시티의 모티브인 핏방울을 상징하는 1000여 개의 플라스틱 구를 붉은 패브릭으로 감싸 매달아 시각적 임팩트를 만들어 냈다.
1000여 개의 핏방울들은 바람에 자연스럽게 흔들려 할로윈의 현장감을 높였다.
The main structure in Blood City, called Blood Street, created visual impact by wrapping over a thousand plastic spheres symbolizing blood droplets with red fabric, representing the motif of Blood City.
On windy days, the natural swaying of over a thousand blood droplets heightened the realistic atmosphere of Halloween, adding to the immersive experience of the event. Last but not least, the container-based structure in the main stage creates the theme of Blood City: a city created by zombies, enhancing realism through additional artwork and aging processes.
마지막으로 메인스테이지의 컨테이너를 활용한 구조물을 활용하여 '좀비들이 만들어낸 도시'라는 블러드 시티의 테마를 연출하였고 추가적인 아트웍과
에이징 처리를 통해 리얼리티를 극대화하였다.
공간의 모든 구조물들은 낮과 밤의 이미지의 트랜지션을 고려하여 설계되었으며 낮에는 테마가 있는 기존의 에버랜드 건축물과 자연스럽게 연계되도록 형태와 색채를 구성하였으며 저녁이 되는 시점부터 조명과 발광도료등을 활용하여 블러드 시티 공간내부만의 테마를 더욱 확실히 표현할 수 있도록 하였다.
The design of all structures within the space has considered the changed atmospheres from day to night. All structures within the space were designed with consideration for the transition between day and night images. During the day, forms and colors were composed to harmonize with the existing themed architecture of Everland and blend seamlessly with the surroundings.
From the evening, lighting and luminous paint were applied to further accentuate the theme of Blood City, distinguishing it distinctly within the space.
