남산 밑자락에 위치한 남산스퀘어의 앞마당을 리노베이션하는 프로젝트로 주차장 공간과 보행로를 구분하며 남산의 장소성을 표현할 수 있는 건물의 진입부를 계획하였다. 이미지 월은 약 10,000개의 모듈로 구성되어 상하 각도에 따라 섬세한 음영이 표현되는 CA PLAN의 Urban Dress 제품이며, 중첩된 우리나라의 산세을 이미지로 구현함으로써 전통 조경을 컨셉으로 한 식재의 배경이 되어 조화로운 공간무드를 조성한다.
This project involves renovating the front yard of Namsan Square, located at the bottom range of Mountain: Namsan and suggests an entrance space that separates parking areas from pedestrian pathways, symbolizing the unique sense of place associated with Namsan. The parametric wall consists of approximately 10,000 modules, utilizing CA PLAN's Urban Dress product to create delicate shading effects that vary with vertical and horizontal viewing angles.
The wall represents overlapping imagery of Korea’s mountainous landscapes, serving as a harmonious backdrop for the traditional landscape-inspired planting design, thus fostering a balanced and serene spatial atmosphere.
